On February 11, 2004, Financial Industry Information Security Executives and Managers were treated to outstanding presentations at AIT's "Cyber-Financial Security Conference and Exhibit," at Madison Square Garden, NYC.

The FEATURED PRESENTER was Dr. Gary M. Jackson, Pres & CEO Psynapse Technologies, who explained why it's almost a certainty a major physical and/or cyber terrorist attack will again occur within the U.S. He will discuss Trends and Indicators that portend terrorism's likely return to U.S. soil. The Conference's SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER was Ms. Marcy M. Forman, Department of Homeland Security, Deputy Assistant Director, U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Financial Investigations Division, who discussed the Financial Investigations Division's new structure and initiatives. She also explained how these initiatives will help DHS identify and protect U.S. financial systems vulnerable to exploitation by criminal organizations, including those that seek to raise and transmit funds in support of terrorism. The US Department of Homeland Security (www.dhs.gov) US DHS' first priority is to protect the nation against further terrorist attacks.
