Our Mission

"To provide superior professional development and career networking for IT professionals."

AIT Global Inc. an educational society, was founded in 1986 with the State University of New York at Farmingdale. Initially known as the Association for the Advancement of Communications Technologies , the organization changed its name to the Association for Information Technologies (AIT) in 1992.

Then, in 1997, the name was changed to AIT Global Inc., to better reflect its globally oriented membership of information technologies professionals.

AIT represents the needs of major corporations, each having a definitive need for guidance on how to best use their Information Technologies Systems and Services. These diverse corporations have turned to AIT for assistance in keeping them abreast of the newest Technologies that will help them achieve their applications oriented solutions. They need training that is to the point and cost effective.

Member companies are international, as well as national, and range from 16 to more than 100,000 employees. Members represent the financial and banking community, the university segment, the consulting, legal and accounting professions, Government,  IT and Telecom corporations. Typical AIT members include CIOs, VPs, Directors, Managers, Consultants, Analysts, Engineering Managers and Systems Integrators.

AIT annually sponsors numerous educational Conferences and Certificate Courses, as well as Networking Breakfasts and Luncheons. These programs target the career development and cross training of mid to upper level IT, Telecom, Systems and Networking professionals. AIT's Programs are consistently awarded the highest grades by attendees.
